The Beginning of our Work in New Mexico

Jackie & I went to New Mexico in 2003 with another couple from our church, Yvonne & Lemoyne Duff. We went to the House of Prayer Church in Cuba, New Mexico. We were with Bill and Bettye Roberts. We went to bring Christmas to the Children. Bill did not want to do the Santa tradition so he had Jackie dress up as a clown instead. We played games with the children, had a puppet show, and read the Christmas story from the Bible. I also demonstrated the Wordless Book, which is the plan of salvation. Jacko assisted me with his colored bandanas. I gave every one a beaded bracelet and a tract explaining the plan of salvation using the colors of the wordless book. We delivered a trailor full of Christmas gifts and after our party and presentations we gave out the gifts. . A group had gone earlier in the year to deliver booksacks with school supplies. This was the beginning of our work in New Mexico. See slide show on left side of page.
